This job, absolutely. But I'm also planning to change my brakes and swap winter / summer tires and you can't do those on ramps. But yeah -- swapping in a new muffler would be super easy with ramps.

Absolutely. I'm paranoid enough that I also take off both wheels and slide them under the car so if the jack fails and the jack stands fail, the wheels will keep me from getting crushed.

Seriously, I'm fucking paranoid when I'm working by myself. Unless it is electrical work, in which case I choose any old ground because fuck your car fires.
Bro, you remember you have money right? You can take this shit to a shop and have it done in 30 minutes.

Yea but the seats in your truck weigh more than his entire car.

Of course -- but this is easy and fun.

Right? Even with the additional vacuum hose, there are few jobs as easy as replacing your exhaust.

                  Don’t break a tooth like I did.

Yeah, I'm going to do my best to avoid that.

I assumed he lost his teeth on the ice already like all good Canadians.

                        Only a few.

Everything arrived last night. I unboxed and was really impressed with the packaging --a muffler isn't the sturdiest thing, so it is nice to see them take care.

If my schedule stays as clear as it looks right now, I'm leaving work early today. Don't know if I'll be early enough to get to work on the car since it'll have to cool down, but I can hope.

Well you do want a quiet mode which I don't understand so they are probably needed.

Otherwise I'd have just gone with a straight pipe ...

As for quiet mode -- this is not a beautiful V8. This is an inline 4. It is not an engine you want to hear 24/7.
